    2024 Deer Camp Dates: October 18-20 Location: Caldwell County, NC The 2024 GEO Deer Camp was hosted by MAG Feeders and Double G Ranch in Caldwell County, North Carolina and was our first ever archery hunt.  Caldwell County is in the northwest section of North Carolina in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains and is bounded on the northwest by Watauga County, on the northeast by Wilkes County, on the east by Alexander County, on the south by Catawba and Burke Counties and on the west by Burke and Avery Counties. It is located approximately 69 miles northwest of Charlotte, 84 miles southwest of Winston-Salem, and 90 miles northeast of Asheville and boasts breathtaking views from elevation ranges from 900 feet to 5,964 feet.     This event was canceled due to weather.  Applicants for this event will receive priority on future events. 2025 Deer Camp December 5-7, 2025 Franklin County, North Carolina This will be a three day event featuring one full day of hunting. Please complete the application below to be considered eligible for attending the event. The 2025 Deer Camp will be located in Franklin County, North Carolina.  Franklin County was founded in 1779 and is located in the heart of the North Carolina Piedmont approximately 45 minutes northeast of the state capital, Raleigh.  Franklin County is a historically rural area known for its agricultural, lumber, and textiles industries.  This hunt will feature several properties, with the main property consisting of 1,000 continuous acres.  This property features great hiking trails, 5 ponds (3 managed, largest 15 acres), mature hardwood bottomlands and ridges, and active agricultural fields.  This property will be the location of…
