Guiding Eyes Outdoors, Inc. (GEO) was founded by two retired Marines, a retired Army National Guard and current Law Enforcement Officer, and two civilians.

Guiding Independence and Inspiration

The mission of Guiding Eyes Outdoors, Inc. (GEO) is to provide life-altering outdoor adventures to those in need through continued mentorship by veterans, first responders, and the general community.

Goals

Build and maintain programs for and between veterans, first responders and blind individuals.

Hold outdoor activities focused on blind and visually impaired individuals throughout North Carolina.

Provide community support and entertainment services to local blind schools and organizations.

Objectives

Mentor
Establish and maintain continuous mentorship opportunities for Veterans, First Responders, Blind/Visually Impaired, and Gold Star Kids.

Train
Provide training to veterans and first responders to support blind people in the outdoors and teach them to be more independent.

Enjoy
Obtain property, property leases, or hunt club permissions within North Carolina to expand outdoor opportunities for our focus areas.
