The 2025 Trophy Drum Weekend will be limited to two (2) attendees and will feature a day of fishing on Saturday, August 15 with late evening fishing with Captain Austin Goodwin of Captain Austin’s Guide Service. Lodging accommodations remains to be determined. We will be targeting red drum in excess of 30 pounds with 40-50 pound fish common. Fishing will occur within the Neuse River downstream of New Bern all the way to the Pamlico Sound. All fishing activities will be conducted with state and federal regulations. Trophy Drum are Catch and Release Only however, any other species caught may be kept in accordance with state and federal regulations. All Participants, must have valid NC Coastal Recreational Fishing license. An annual license may be purchased for $16 or and 10 day license may be purchased for $6.
