This upcoming hunt will take place near Mountain City\, Tennessee and will be proudly hosted by Appalachian Custom Calls\, a company known for its dedication to the tradition and craftsmanship of turkey hunting. \nMountain City is a small Appalachian town surrounded by some of the most beautiful and rugged land in the region. Located in the northeastern corner of Tennessee near the borders of North Carolina and Virginia\, the area is defined by steep ridgelines\, hardwood forests\, quiet hollows\, and winding mountain streams. Towering stands of oak\, hickory\, and poplar blanket the mountainsides\, creating ideal habitat for Eastern wild turkeys. In the spring\, the forest wakes up with fresh green growth and the unmistakable sound of gobblers echoing from ridge to ridge at daybreak. \nThis hunt offers participants a chance to experience classic Appalachian turkey hunting. Mornings will begin before sunrise as hunters listen for gobbles rolling through the mountain valleys before moving into position along hardwood ridges\, logging roads\, and natural travel corridors where gobblers roam during the spring breeding season. \nHosted by Appalachian Custom Calls\, this event is about more than just the hunt—it’s about sharing the heritage and skills of turkey hunting in the mountains.
